BLUE LAGOON

The blue shades under the glaring sun have become our guest’s favorite spot for unwinding, swimming and snorkeling

If you are dreaming of turquoise clear sea with a sandy seabed and a romantic beach well hidden from the crowds, look no further. The first stop on the tour makes the dream of tropical feel on the Adriatic come to reality.

The name Blue Lagoon only gives away the color but the captivating scenery and the gorgeous views of this tranquil bay simply have to be experienced while vacationing in Dalmatia.

The Blue Lagoon is an area of shallow sea on the eastern side of Veli Drvenik island enclosed by two islets – Krknjaš veli and Krknjaš mali. Due to the good wind protection as well as the peace and quiet it provides, the area is also a popular anchorage and a great excursion spot for guests searching for the perfect getaway destination away from urban buzz.

The broad spectrum of blue shades under the glaring sun and the white sandy seabed make the Blue Lagoon an unmistakable choice for taking a swimming and snorkeling break or for simply melting away the stress soaking up the sun and catching a bit of vacation tan lying on the boat. Grab your swimming shoes or an underwater camera and our crew will gladly hand out the snorkeling equipment for all of you eager to explore the flora and fauna on the soft sea bottom.

Surrender to the blissful holiday feeling by the sounds of the sea washing the rocky slopes of the beach and crickets chirping in the pine tree groves while enjoying the panoramic views of the islands in the distance and sailboats gently swinging to the rhythm of the rolling waves.

TROGIR

Discover Trogir town and find out why it is frequently called “Little Venice” and the “Museum city”.

Only 15 minutes of a speedboat ride away, on a small island situated between the mainland and the Ciovo island lies our next destination – Trogir. Nicknamed “Little Venice”, walking through this historic town you will quickly discover why the famous Trogir deserved a spot on UNESCO’s World heritage list.

Inhabited from the Hellenistic period, Trogir town is a place of a rich cultural history written in the cobblestone of winding narrow streets laced with many ancient buildings dating from the Roman and Venetian period. Take a walk under the row of palm trees on the sunny promenade and pass through the old town gates to discover the reason Trogir is often referred to as the “Museum-city” or even more flatteringly – “The stone beauty”.

Walk up to the Cathedral of St. Lawrence and climb up the 47 m high bell tower to enjoy the aerial views of the town and nearby islands. The cathedral also boasts a beautiful portal with Romanesque stone carvings made by Master Radovan in the 13th century.

Don’t forget to snap a nice photo in the middle of a the St. John Paul II Square after checking out the gothic façade ornaments of the Ćipiko Palace, the town loggia built in Renaissance style and the town clock on the St. Sebastian church dating from the 15th century.

Cool yourself under the tree shades in the romantic Zudika park or try some of the traditional Dalmatian dishes carefully prepared in one of the numerous restaurants located on the promenade. Grab a scoop of ice cream or get some souvenirs to bring home and take a short walk up to the nearby Kamerlengo Castle and the St. Mark’s tower. For the romantic souls, discover the story behind the “tree of love” located between the castle and the tower. Be sure to steal a kiss for long-lasting love.

Due to harmony between ancient history and the modern-day lifestyle, the islet and town of Trogir earned a well-deserved title of the World’s best city-island by National Geographic in 2015.
